Overview

Foundry is seeking an ambitious, talented, experienced and technology savvy Account Director to join our Enterprise Accounts team!

 

The Account Director will have a strong understanding of B2B marketing and will have the ability to find opportunities and confidently present to clients, offering highly focused and customized marketing solutions that drive tangible results.

This role can be based in an approved US remote West Coast position (preference is San Francisco Bay Area).

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business revenue generation
  • Gain market share with existing customers
  • Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities with your customer base
  • Develop, service, and prospect relationships with named agencies and clients
  • Confidently present Foundry's portfolio of custom solutions including, but not limited, to B2B demand generation, data, media services, online display and video, and events
  • Negotiate and be accountable for all contracts and forecasting
  • Perform as a business specialist developing strategic solutions that solve your clients' business challenges
  • Constantly develop and execute creative ideas on behalf of your clients and the company
  • Partner with sales counterparts internally to deliver a best-in-class experience for Foundry’s customers
  • Work with internal support and delivery teams to ensure a seamless customer experience for clients

Qualifications

  • 8+ years digital sales experience as a hunter, ideally in a technology environment
  • Comfortable working both client and agency partners
  • Minimum of 4 years selling dedicated digital solutions demonstrating a deep understanding of online media and trends
  • Ability to understand complex business marketing issues and how to leverage the Foundry portfolio to achieve the client's objectives
  • 10-20% domestic travel will be required for this role
  • Ability & desire to see clients and build relationships through in-person meetings & client outings are a must
  • Comfortable handling the most strategic and complicated accounts
  • Expert-level understanding and fluency across demand generation, programmatic display and video, social, and media services
  • Strong and proven presentation, writing, critical thinking and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, self-motivate, and add to the energy of a highly engaged team
  • Self-starter with good organizational and time management skills; able to work within tight deadlines
  • Strong presentation skills to senior level executives

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The anticipated total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $195,000 and $275,000 and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
